I have already learned more than I thought I could about tattoos from taking this class, but I have learned even more from researching and finding connections between art and the art of tattoos. The main thing I have learned from all of this is that it depends. In any situation, (What is art? What is beautiful? What looks bad?) it all depends on the person. To me, most things are beautiful (except for that large belly with a cow butthole) and I love most all of it. To someone else, though, they might see art as only classics like Picasso and Monet. It really all depends. One person's tramp stamp is another person's work of art!
I really hope that if you've read this blog, you have learned how connected the art world and the tattoo world really are and how they do intertwine.
